Here, we serve you various ways which include music, poetry, blogs, faith coaching, prayers, and anything else Jesus moves us to offer that exhorts others to build their faith in Him. We understand that faith is a key to the Kingdom of God. "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Hebrews 11:6 NKJV Please look around, read and take a listen. We pray that this content touches you to dig deep with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
I thank you Father for waking me this morning and giving me strength to get through another day. I bless your Holy name, Jesus. Show me Your ways, teach me the paths You have for me. I know I am not perfect Father, but according to Your loving kindnesses and tender mercies, pardon my shortcomings. Draw me unto You. Create in me a clean heart and renew Your Spirit within me. I am seeking Your Light, and I seek to please You. Show me the plans You have for my life. I'm yielding to Your Will. Show me how to serve others to please You. Help me find purpose. In the mighty name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen
Strength
Knock knock knock: I wonder who that is?
It’s me. Me who? The me who is sent to deceive
I don’t want you here
But I have something for you, something that you will love
You couldn’t have anything that I will love
But I have something that you have always desired
I have everything I have ever desired
But you do not have what I have
Creeeeeak.
I open up the door slightly out of curiosity
And the deception has started ever so quietly
I didn’t understand what I was getting into
But the slither of a serpent is so eventful
It does not pounce like a lion or a tiger or a bear
The sound of his footsteps is oh so rare
You never see him coming
When you catch a glimpse of it you don’t start running
You ignore it. You say nah it can’t be that
Then you turn right back
Back to the wickedness he placed in you to do
But it started with cracking the door boo
If you do not well sin lies at the door
You see the Lord warned us of this then
When we were back in the garden
Cain killed Abel all because of covetousness
The anger in his mind could no longer rest
So he acted on it and what did that do?
That sin stuck to him like glue
This is what happens when we let the wrong one in
You gradually spiral out of control, you’re gonna let him win
You hit rock bottom and you can’t even look up
The pain of what you’ve done has broken sacred trust
You don’t trust yourself so you just sit there
You have been overcome by the prince of the air
And what does he do once you are through
He moves to your brothers and sisters to see what they’re up to
You see he’s a serpent and a scorpion and a dragon
He is as observant and careful and patient as a lion
Beware of his traps because he will try and try
His wiles are way more than meets the eye
Somewhere in that darkness a reset happens
You remember whose you are and that all this time you’ve been nappin
Nappin on your purpose on your people on your God
Then you start to feel quite odd
The guilt sets in and it feels unbearable
But you remember that with God all things are possible
So you pray for forgiveness you cry it all out
You fall on your face and you scream and you shout
You feel a cleansing that is beginning deep down
First time in a while you know you won’t drown
You reach your hand up to the sky
And the Lord is sitting up there on high
Knock knock knock: Oh Lord not again
But this time it’s not that old serpent
It’s the Lord coming in to sup
But only if you would just open up
He says if you draw night to me I will draw nigh to you
I will help guide you through
If you just trust in the Lord with all thine heart
I will stand you up, give you a start
I will teach you how to put one foot in front of the other
That you will never open up to another
You are my child and no one else’s
I give you strength to endure, I am He who blesses
You start to get the hang of walking so now you’re jogging
And you run up to a sister or brother who is now crawling
With the strength given to you, you grab their hand
With the strength given to you, you pull em to a stand
Knock knock knock: who could that be?
The Lord is now talking to you through me.
